History

Founded in 1963, Flamsteed Equipment is a family-owned and operated company with a vision that has remained consistent through the years: to be a leading supplier of earthmoving and mining equipment in Australia, providing late model and low hour equipment to customers.

Bill Flamsteed is the founder of Flamsteed with son Mark now the Managing Director, taking over the running of the business in the late 90’s. The business solely operated in used Caterpillar-built machines - and to this day the Caterpillar brand remains one of the best in the business. Flamsteed still specialise in Caterpillar machines plus Komatsu equipment, both with a reputation for reliability and power, offering high performance equipment at a competitive price.
